0 waste, 100% freshness: our reusable bucket is revolutionising the office coffee break

The office coffee break is a daily ritual. But it’s also a moment that, without us really noticing, often generates a lot of waste. At Bean2me, we decided to tackle the problem at its source.

Our answer: a 5 kg reusable bucket, endlessly refillable, with no single-use plastic—and always filled with freshly roasted coffee, never more than 30 days from roasting.

A durable, easy-to-use, zero-waste container

No more piling up coffee bags, trash-bound packaging, or cardboard to fold.

With our reusable bucket, coffee is delivered in a hermetically sealed, clean, and ultra-practical container.

We deliver it. When it’s empty, we take it back. It returns to our workshop to be washed and reused for another client. A closed-loop system—simple and waste-free.

And no worries if you’re not ready for the 5 kg format yet: our 1 kg bags are home compostable (OK Home Compost), designed to reduce their environmental impact while keeping your coffee fresh. It’s not quite zero waste yet, but we’re getting close.

But wait… isn’t your bucket made of plastic?

Some people ask us that—and it’s a fair question.

Yes, our bucket is made of plastic. But it’s strong, durable, and built to last. A single bucket can be reused over 100 times before being recycled—and even then, it remains fully recoverable.

👉 Producing one container and using it for years is far more sustainable than producing hundreds of disposable packages, even so-called “recyclable” ones.

👉 And let’s talk about recycling: it requires energy, collection, sorting, processing… and in reality, only a tiny fraction actually gets recycled.

👉 Our system avoids all of that. It replaces the cycle with direct reuse—no transformation, no waste.

So yes, our bucket is plastic. But it generates no waste, uses no new resources with each delivery, and is made to last.

A practical lever for your CSR strategy

In the workplace, sustainability actions need to be tangible. And what’s more visible and shared than the coffee break?

Choosing coffee delivered in a reusable bucket sends a clear message to your team, your clients, and your partners:

“We take action—starting with the little things.”

It’s also a move that fits perfectly into your CSR strategy:

• Reduced packaging waste
• Promotion of reuse over disposal
• Less logistics around waste management
• A responsible company image aligned with your environmental commitments

A solution designed to integrate seamlessly

No need to change your machines or overhaul your setup.

Our buckets are easy to use: open, scoop, close. It’s quick, clean, and accessible to everyone in the team.

They integrate perfectly with our workplace coffee solutions—whether you rent, buy, or have a professional coffee machine provided by us.

Already have your own machine? No problem. You can simply order your coffee from Bean2me, either in a reusable bucket or compostable 1 kg bags.

And if you order at least two 5 kg buckets per month, we’ll take care of your machine maintenance—even if it’s not from us.

Because great coffee deserves a clean, well-maintained machine—no matter where it comes from.

And when we deliver (always fossil fuel–free, by cargo bike or electric vehicle), we can also pick up your used coffee grounds, if you want. That said, many team members prefer to keep them for their plants, fridge, or compost… and we totally get it!

A small container, a big change

A single 5 kg reusable bucket replaces 5 individual packages.

That’s already a win with every delivery.

But over a year? The impact becomes very real.

Let’s take an example: a company with 30 team members consumes an average of 15 kg of coffee per month.

By switching to reusable buckets, that’s 3 buckets per month—meaning 15 packages avoided every month.

Over a year, that adds up to 180 packages not thrown away.

And all of this requires zero extra effort on your part.

You continue enjoying high-quality, freshly roasted coffee—only now, you’re doing it in a way that’s meaningful and responsible.

And did we mention every delivery is made without fossil fuels, by cargo bike or electric vehicle?

It’s just our way of doing things right. Simply. For you, and for tomorrow.
